I am an illustrator and a painter and a graduate of Salve Regina University. I grew up in Exeter, Rhode Island, but moved to Newport three years ago to indulge in living on the beach and the folk-artsy, coffee-loving, local culture.
When I am not in studio drawing or cultivating some new artistic ideas, I can be found participating in my love of sports. I have a black belt in Okinawan Shorin Ryu and have competed and coached nationally and internationally in Canada and Ireland. Martial arts has continued to be a constant in my life, even throughout my years of college, where I picked up rugby and played as a flanker for Salve Women's Rugby team.
Through my various life experiences, I have gained a strong desire to help people overcome their personal struggles and to gain strength and confidence in themselves. I am seeking to accomplish this by gaining a graduate degree in Art Therapy and working with those who are battling with trauma and substance abuse.
